The Marche des Fiertés, organised by Inter-LGBT, normally takes place in late June; in 2026 it was held on 3 October, from Place d'Italie to Place de la Bastille.

The legal picture: France opened marriage to same-sex couples by law on 17 May 2013. Since the law of 18 November 2016 (the procedure working from 2017), adults and emancipated minors can ask a court to change their legal sex entry without proof of surgery, sterilisation or medical treatment, and a 2022 law criminalised practices aimed at changing sexual orientation or gender identity.

The Marche des Fiertés is normally held on a Saturday in late June. In 2026 the 27 June march was cancelled at the Préfecture de Police's request during a heatwave and held instead on Saturday 3 October, from Place d'Italie to Place de la Bastille. The 2027 date has not been announced.
