Brussels' LGBTQIA+ scene is clustered around Rue du Marché au Charbon, long described as the city's gay quarter and home to RainbowHouse, the hub for more than 70 member associations. RainbowHouse runs an Info Point and a platform for reporting LGBTQIA+phobia, and coordinates Brussels Pride Week, which ran from 6 to 15 May in 2026. Tels Quels, at Place de la Liberté, offers a social services team and a documentation centre. Brussels Pride, which the regional tourism site visit.brussels says brought together more than 200,000 people, was added to the Brussels-Capital Region's intangible cultural heritage list in October 2024.

- Belgium opened marriage to same-sex couples in 2003. The 2007 Anti-Discrimination Act prohibits discrimination based on sexual orientation, conversion practices have been criminal since 2023, and since 2018 legal gender can change without medical treatment.
