Bangkok Pride Festival ends with a parade along Silom Road in late May or early June (31 May in 2026); when it returned in 2022 it was reported as the first official Pride parade in the Silom area in more than 15 years. Same-sex marriage became legal on 23 January 2025, and city officials helped organise registrations at a Bangkok shopping mall that day. For health services, Tangerine Clinic near MRT Samyan, founded in 2015, describes itself as Thailand's first trans-specific clinic, and the Rainbow Sky Association offers HIV testing and PrEP from its Ramkhamhaeng headquarters. The Thai Transgender Alliance runs a complaint system for sexual rights violations.

The legal picture: Same-sex marriage has been legal in Thailand since 23 January 2025, under amendments to the Civil and Commercial Code that extended marriage rights to all couples regardless of gender. Thailand does not yet have legal gender recognition, so trans people cannot change the gender on official documents, and some other laws have not yet been made gender-neutral.

Tangerine Community Health Clinic (IHRI) — Describes itself as Thailand's first transgender clinic, founded 2015 and led by trained transgender staff; 11th floor, Chamchuri Square, near MRT Samyan Exit 2; open Monday to Saturday 10am to 7pm (registration closes 5pm).
Rainbow Sky Association of Thailand (RSAT) — LGBTQIA+ health and rights association, founded 1998; offers HIV testing and PrEP, headquartered on Ramkhamhaeng Road.
Thai Transgender Alliance (ThaiTGA) — Foundation and network of trans people (people assigned male at birth who identify as another gender) and their supporters, working on rights and sexual health; runs a complaint system for sexual rights violations and an academic centre.
